The East Coast Institute for Research (ECIR) has forged an alliance with a multidisciplinary group of investigators and clinicians positioned throughout Northeast Florida. Our team is comprised of board certified family physicians, internists, cardiologists, electrophysiologists, gastroenterologists, dermatologists, pharmacists, nurses and clinical research coordinators. ECIR is conducting research from 4 fully functioning research offices in Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Orange Park and has affiliations with several hospitals in this area. Our capabilities encompass Phase II, III and IV clinical trials. Our investigators have decades of research experience and our staff is trained in clinical research. Contracting with a wide array of major pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations (CROs), ECIR is a leader in the area of clinical research. In addition, our passion for research extends to our Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) program. Our investigators and staff are actively developing new research ideas with the goal of advancing medicine in ways not previously considered.
