A.Allen Seals, MD, FACC, is a clinical and interventional cardiologist with Baker and Gilmour Cardiovascular Institute and has been in practice for 21 years. Dr. Seals received his doctorate in Biochemistry (Molecular Genetics) at University of Georgia. He then completed his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia. His postgraduate training included an internship and residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, including the position of Chief Medical Resident at the Methodist Hospital. Dr. Seals is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds subspecialty certification in internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology. Dr. Seals’ research interests include multiple areas of clinical cardiology, with a research focus on ischemic cardiovascular disease. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed scientific papers and presented multiple research papers and abstracts at Cardiology meetings in the U.S. and Europe.
